Yup moth balls do work well ,but also shown to cause the cancer that causes leukemia, not sure how much exposure is needed for that?, but it'll take out indoor birds if its around.

Hadn’t heard that

It's was an old research article that my boss gave me 20years ago. He was a pesticide applicator then retired to nursery ownership.
I used to recommend moth balls all the time . The study also showed adults were alot less likely to be affected based on body mass . I'm certainly no safety expert but if kids were present I wouldn't use moth balls.

Have never really had a mouse problem. Just want to edge my bets.

Have never been able to stomach the smell of moth balls.

Been using bounce dryer sheets they work well. And the smell tames once you remove them.

Maintenance Monday. got a good bit done before I went to work. Oil & filter (Walmart's finest), spark plugs, cleaned carburetor, cleaned the fuel screen, & started running new fuel line & filter.

this machine originally had an Onan 18hp from factory but it was blown up when my buddy got it. He swapped in a Hazard Fart 670 Predator 22hp. I ordered an air filter adapter this morning so I can run a clamp on cone style K&N, the UPS guy is gonna love me this week.

another morning of knocking out little stuff before work. picked up a new hydraulic filter from Napa, removed some inner panels & the boom cylinders, pulled the suction screen & gave it a much needed parts washer bath & finished up the fuel lines. gonna tidy up/reroute some wiring when I get home from work. once it's mobile again it's getting a much needed degreasing & pressure wash.

Been cleaning out my Pa's garage and finding an array of goodies.
I took a load to the Landfill and saw these sitting atop a dumpster.

Reckon it's fishing time!!:dancer2:

I've caught fish on almost every one of the lures I see there!! I actually got out a couple weekends ago....
Fished from before Sun up till almost 4 before I finally had one on the line. Worth the wait though. [emoji106][emoji6]

Second photo with my winter boot size 10.5 for size reference cause it never got above 50 with the wind blowing 15-20 out of the NW....

My wife and I were talking yesterday about buying some gimmicky potato planters.... well, my mind started trying to save money and beat the system, and this was the result....
Ain't tried it yet, so I guess I'll have to update in the fall.
How did you do the chicken wire ones? how'd it work out?
We're always looking for a better way to do stuff too!
