Just a minor road trip to the west coast…
Yes I want one too.
I plan on making a cross country drive in next year or two.
I want to see a little of the country. Will be my retirement trip. I’m still waiting on coved to be mostly over with and depending on my wife’s health too.
Driving from Virginia. Looking forward to it.

Helped out a friend today. Took her some cedar I had milled so she can make some raised garden beds. Put some decking on the steps to her took shed, changed out her mower blades and greased her lawn tractor and took down a bunch of trees.

Bucked and split more wood, the 032 has sat for a long time and have put 2 tanks through it recently. She was eating good, chips were coming out in some good sizes. Feels weird not running a saw that starts with a 6 or an 8…but in a good way haha. Then split and loaded a trailer load I sold to a buddy. Milled an oak log between bucking and splitting, then annealed, resized and cleaned my 6.5 creedmoor brass to get ready for an upcoming 2 day PRS match to finish out the weekend…now I’m tired for Monday haha.B70B8BDA-D943-4CD7-A86D-C0E6E51A85C4.jpegAB083062-A72C-439A-A176-C8A77542DF36.jpeg 47A4B68B-3D22-4D52-84A6-E193B78349B1.jpeg3FD69F82-C46C-4CF2-9286-1F8B9D7E0952.jpeg AFB4E7AB-E04D-4E51-B8B8-D0FC593C12D2.jpeg

Been working on getting my boat ready for the season. Yesterday morning I got all my stuff out of it, got the leaves out, and started getting parts for the trailer. Replacing the bow stop and fenders this year. Tonight I pressure washed it, got the new registration stickers on, installed the new bow stop and removed the old fenders.

Trying to solve a squirrel in the attic problem. Once I solve the squirrel problem I'll have to put rat wire behind or in front of the vent on the side of the house. Also found a squirrel problem on the back porch behind someone's crap that built up over the years.
I do have a solution.

Relentless little fellas. We have the red squirrel and they are little devils.
Better rid of them before they chew up more stuff

My mother in law is having issues with them getting into here 2021 Honda CRV. The got in through the fresh air vent? Chewed up the filter and it blocked the fan. Got that fixed and then about a month ago she looked out and saw him running over the dashboard. This time the car wouldn't start. Close to $4000 in damage and it's been at the dealer for over 3 weeks.

Grinding stumps with my brother today. We did 57 diameter feet of stumps. 4 pines and 4 tulip poplars, and a splattering of little ones here and there. Here was the last one of the day, was getting late so we scraped the soil away and cut it lower to get it done faster. Thats a 42” on the saw and this wasn’t even the biggest one. Gonna have to sharpen it tonight
