Yea, that is pretty far North! Too bad the Upstate GTG is not scheduled this year.

I went to school at RIT, my Daughter went to Plattsburg and I have relatives just South of Utica.

Univ of Buffalo and Brockport State were the two toughest teams we wrestled against each year. Uof B were all on scholarship, and Brockport was all Phs Ed majors!

It is good to see the lakes have cleaned up and the fishing is good. The Great Lakes used to be a disaster!

been stupid busy workin as much OT as I can, havent had a chance to post in forever. I put a redbeard filter kit on my 620PW & did some air filter maintenance on my 650 earlier this week. Yesterday, my buddy called me yesterday asking if I could finish taking down a big maple at his place.

him & a couple relatives topped it out but didnt have a saw big enough for the rest. so took the 650 & 36" bar over & slabbed it off for him, & used the 620PW to buck the rest up.

Decided to lighten my small mount 24" oregon power cut bar, wanted something light with reach for the 357 i ported and put together.
I weighted the bar before i did anything, 1,44 kg

Then I milled out some material, used some cheap epoxy filler and sanded everything smooth.

1.08 kg so if I can do math correct that would be a 25% weight saving..?
Will have to see how the epoxy hold up over time, was fairly easy sanding.

I see here. The Dollies can't handle that stuff...
Time to bring in the Stihl's to get the job done! [emoji1787]
Funny, but no!
I am again being stupid bucking other people's logs and neglecting my own.
Last week I bucked up 10 cubic meters of oak and beech, after working the morning shift.
I am supposed to dismantle three more log piles.
I am stupid like that and I hate myself for it! :(

FYI, the people I buck firewood logs for all own Husky or Stihl saws (about 50/50)!
It is obvious those can't handle a whole log pile otherwise my Dolmar's wouldn't have to leave my yard. ;)

Come by this summer and show me what Your Stihl's can do, I'll take care of the food and drinks.

Looked at Tractor Supply Carry On utility trailers. My Karavan is just too big and the deck is too high combined with the 4' ramp gate makes loading and unloading a bit sketchy. The 6x8 with ST175 tires on 13" rims will suit me perfectly. Posted up the Karavan for sale.

Hell , so the grass stops growing! :D

Typo, I was on about 30 hours without sleep almost continuously on my feet.
At the end of yesterday my knees started to buckle and give in.
Obviously I was mowing the darn lawn. ;)

I got a mild sunburn yesterday, second one this year.
Did I mention that I hate summer?!

That's to keep it from tipping over silly...
I thought it's a lightweight bar now . . . o_O
I guess more metal needs to be removed.

Weren't there some "kickstand" spikes around for those screw losing Husky's.
The anchor Stihl's obviously wouldn't need any, their weight would hold the Hindenburg grounded! :D
