Propane heater in the shop is on the fritz so I bought this at Lowes until I get another heater. 23800 btu and will run 8-12 hours on 1.9 gallons of kero. Local Mobil station has kero for 3.99 a gallon. $20 filled my 5 gallon can. Tried cleaning the pilot tube on the old propane heater and no luck. I think the thermocouple is at fault and unfortunately parts for that heater are no longer available.

Bucked and cut in half the rounds on an old birch log. Had a decent pocket of rot on one end and was too short to mill. A friend is going to turn me a bowl from one and I gave him the rest.

Did some milling for the first time! WKWS084 in a 180 year old Oak branch. I was surprised how dark the heart wood was. Very happy with the results and I really enjoyed it!

Removed side tube hot water heater, replaced

with 20 plate heat exchanger connected to OWB. Should have done it 20 years ago. Shut electric hot water heater off and have more hot water then we ever had.

I've been thinking about getting a broken hot tube off of craigslist and build a fire heated one in my woods. I'm glad to see this post.
