Started building my shop doors.

What kind of wood Mike?

Two Red Maples and a little Pear tree. The next day I did a Shag Hickory and a Hemlock, both decent size, and a bunch of small Red Maples.

No pics as the guys were cleaning it up as soon as I went to the next one. Some of them had to be tied as they were leaning the wrong way.

I planted the garden today now that its done snowing in May here in wonderful Ohio. So glad to finally get all the seedling trays out of the house

Yesterday and the day before I worked on the Red Oak half round bench I had previously made for the Fish + Game club.

I stripped off the Epoxy (that was not weathering well outside), inserted the memorial plaque, and gave it a couple of coats of Spar Urethane.

I am pleased the Club's Board agreed with my suggestion to dedicate the bench to Judge Reitz, and they purchased a beautiful plaque.

I like how it turned out. Judge Reitz was a strong supporter of our Second Amendment, and would not hesitate to issue Full Carry permits, in sharp contrast to all of the other local Judges. He was a beacon of light in what is often a dark place, and he will be missed.

Thought i was going to take it easy today.
Went out on the back porch and find a Poolon with the rope hanging out and the chain on backward.
Neighbor saw i wasn't working full time and may want to make a little extra money.

Sometimes friends are overrated.

It's sort of a prefab, it's one of those military barrack type buildings. Self supporting, free span that has tons of room on the inside. It's a different look for sure. Pole barn prices have went through the roof in my area. People have started building them as houses, and the price has gotten ridiculous.

I picked these girls & boys today,, I have a vid or two as well which I will upload later.. the 2nd vid they got stroppy with me, very understandable as they were all clustered and ready for bed, then I go in and bash the place up as I knock them into a new home..

The second vid,,, is me knocking them in to a hive at sunset,, I have to take some frames out so they fall to the floor, I’ve put a Queen excluder on the floor to stop the Queen escaping in the morning. There were that many bees I had to put a Queen excluder on the top of the brood and a super on top of that..
Enjoy and laugh at me getting stung by the stroppy bees, understandably really as they were ready for bed and I bashed them out and into a cold box
