Worked 11-7 and finished up till Tuesday! Came home grabbed some coffee and some saws. Headed next door to the neighbors house and took down his leaning English Walnut tree. Got it all cleaned up except for the bottom 10' of trunk. Goodnight![emoji42] [emoji42]
Nice 3 saw combo you have. How did the hybrid run? Is it getting stronger with more tanks of fuel ran thru it?

Rebuilding a rear end for my buddies 65 mustang and swapping our gear sets to 3:80's while we are at it. He had to work but brought his 9 year old boy over to watch. I put him to work, made a dandy press pump handle operator. Hoping to teach this young boy right, he likes to stack firewood too.

Stopped by the local Stihl dealer here along the Amazon to see what they had. Actually a pretty good selection and due to the very strong dollar (or weak Reals) the prices were pretty close to USA prices. (about $80 for a 30" bar, about $1050 for an MS660, etc.) Just had happened by while looking for something for the plane project so didn't do any serious shopping... We've got one more day left to get 3 days worth of stuff done so it's been pretty intense. By the end of tomorrow, what got done got done and the rest didn't. Someone elses problem.
Talked to a friend of mine in Brazil yesterday. He said it had been raining quite a bit. He invited me to come. Perhaps I will someday!

Hi Scott! The hybrid is running well but only finished the second tank so far. I'll run it tomorrow in the last part of that tree. I'll post a video of it cutting up the last part of the trunk. The tree wasnt that big so i only used it for a couple cuts and to noodle that one section. It was running really rich yesterday morning. I'll adjust a little and see how it does.

Well, yesterday a guy from work had some pros come to his camp and drop a birch that was leaning heavily toward his cabin. Price was based on the "we drop it, you clean up the mess" arrangement. I offered to help with the latter and ended up bucking and noodling about 40 foot trunk section with my MM038 while he zipped away at the tops with a 40 cc Jonsered. Fun and games for me, heck of a mess for my pal... Spewed noodles EVERYWHERE. Thanks Randy Evans!

Today we had my family for Easter dinner at our house. This of course, after church, and a long PSP session. That was fun too! Nobody popped the "how many chainsaws do you have Duane?" question. It was a good day. Happy Easter to those of you that celebrate.

Some people have more faith in my abilities than I do. He asked me to try...I did. Still no pro by any means...

Ok I got the bottom of that tree all cleaned up. My son and I rolled the bottom 6' piece over to my wood pile. Saw is around 12,700 and I didn't adjust anything today. Cold and windy and not much time. Here is how she runs.

Sounds good. Glad you were standing the way you were. That wind was blowing the chips away from you instead of at you.
