That thing is insane the power it has.
You can be half throttle pin it and will stand up on back wheels. Them tires are too big and soft. Would like to go back to the stock ones.

Maybe also look at duratrax line up on tires. They have the softer compound great for traction and bashing

I loved the old savage 25 I had and stock wheels held up for ever even on the pavement. They had lots of sidewall flex that made it sway out of corners but smooth over any rough surface and gravel
Thats what this savage is. Just replaced the .25 with a LRP .30
Its a good motor but hard to start after its warm. Gonna switch it from 20% to 25% nitro. On some of the rc forums they are saying it starts and runs better with the higher nitro.

Stock composit pipe? Love the savage 25. No adjustments to mess up in demo derby basher mode. Only issue I had was rear drive shaft and 2nd gear screws back out and cut a tranny case. Other than that it was a flawless rig and fast

I think its an aftermarket pipe.

Will have to check once in a while to make sure that screw don't back out.

Rain coming for most of the week. So I mowed the lawn and then mowed a couple of unused pastures with the flail mower. Managed to avoid mincing up this little thing:
Nice save. Feed it dog food and youl have a pet deer

Well, today I put my garden in, but yesterday we took the Dogs for a walk on the bike path with the Grand Kids.

My little Grand Daughter (not even 3 yet) really took to walking our girl Lucy, and she did quite well with her!

OK, we know who walked who!!! Very often, the larger the dog, the more friendly!

Both of ours are Pit Mix rescues from the local Humane Society, where my wife volunteers.
Yeah I talk to matilda and she keeps my boy where I want him. He don't want to let go of the leash so it's a win win for all of us

Went down to the cemetery and paid my respects to the fallen veterans. Enjoyed the town parade, volunteered to take a couple trees down for an old vet.

The afternoon will be spent in the movie theater, and this evening my wife and I are having supper with my mom and pop.

Cut up a blow down for my buddy. I think it's popple but really have no idea. It was rather large for our area if it was.

Noodled up a double crotch section that was very figured.

20" on my Dolkita 6421 made short work of it!!!

The trunk is proving to be a problem even for a decent sized tracked loader

Went camping at a very close friends ranch...lots of ranch duty and firewood... had my son help me a bunch. Both had some fun with the time lapse setting on our phones...
