planned to play with my project a little going to clean the bore a little get the rust off and enlarge the transfers a little larger to breath some more life out of this 3300 rpm engine.
dual quad closed port the transfers openings are no bigger than a dime and are oval.

Spent last two days getting this truck closer to being road worthy. Not a big Ford fan. The truck was $300 2003 F150 4x4 151K miles. 15 year old girl slid it into a ditch on its side. Driver air bag blew, drivers door glass broke, side mirror and seat belt tensioners blew as well. Thankfully passenger bag was turned off. Bought all the parts and air bag module from salvage yard for $120. All light are off on air bag. No engine lights ether.Cold A/C. May need front wheel bearings and for sure lower ball joints.

New windshield installed today total money spent so far $700 including truck purchase.

Only good thing about F150 is the salvage yards are full of them so major parts can be had cheap around here.

Fired up my homemade handheld stump grinder today with poor results. Basically an Echo weedeater with a stack of skillsaw blades. Blades were used and not very sharp and the engine was down on power. I think it might have worked (slowly) on a mellow stump but nothing recent. It definitely would be a slow process...Haven't taken a pic yet. I may have to try again using something bigger like a garden tiller..

Bought this super clean Stihl 026 this am, 89 year old guy can't pull it to start it any more, traded it for an EZ start, I couldn't resist, nicest 026 I have seen in a long time, might have to hold onto it, not sure yet. Everything including the bar is original to the saw, even the fuel and oil caps he said.

Worked on some more stumps today with a different blade on my weed eater, worked better but still not too fast. This thing would be great for small saplings though. I took the garden tiller through the stumps today and didn't accomplish much. Maybe I should just use the fire method..

Got a lot of packages today in the mail, set of 288xp cases from @Glock37 that he powdercoated, they look beautiful. The next box came had my MMWS 357xp and a new MMWS 365 special top end kit, the 357xp is a ripper! It may be my favorite saw! The 365 special needs a tune on the carburetor with a tach, but it sounds very healthy as well. Then I finished a MS 440 off that I have been working on. It was a good day.

Put some new dogs on my 346xp. Was out cutting some trees down and could of used a better dog so I sources some dogs from a 359 and went to work. The inner needed a little grinding. The outer needed a section cut out and rewelded.IMG_4522.JPG

Time to get the lawnmowers running and the oil changed in everything, I also received about six or so chainsaws today to try to get running. I told the chainsaw owner that the saws would be a while getting running... after looking at some of the saws they may never run again..
