I cut down 1 tall but skinny pine today, flush cut some stumps with the Stihl 026 and was sharpening the chain while listening to race cars at the Atlanta Motor Speedway where NASCAR is playing this weekend. The rental property I was working at is 1 mile from the race track in Hampton, Georgia.

I fiddley farted around and finally figured out how to transfer picture from a couple of dead computers to a 1 terrabyte portable hard drive .One of them had XP pro and the other ME .

They change this stuff so fast about the time I get it half-fast figured out they go on to something else .Drives me bonkers .Between my stuff and 26 different operating systems at work it's a wonder I'm not nuts .Come to think about it I might be .

I fixed someone's attempt at a battery ignition set up on an old Kohler K series. It was popping like crazy and not revving up. Surprise! Moving the condenser from where I found it wired to the positive terminal of the coil to the breaker smoothed it out beautifully . He was sooo close.

He cut up all the small stuff and used a chipper to get rid of the brush.

And finished @ about 3. Drive was 45 min each way.

LOL, then you know it wasn't mine ;) Home owner had a lil 026 (I think) that he used to get all the stuff about 4" and smaller ready for the chipper.
Did it scamper off into the house when you fired up the Big Dog? lol. You must have made a few bushel of noodles...

I fired up 94cc's of fire breathing, wood shredding HUSQVARNA and the guy gits this big grin on his face and comes over and says, "it sounds like my old 250 dirt bike". Saw is cold so it's got that hot cam bing bing bing.
I think the neighbors were probably glad I left. :) I made 2 last cuts @ the end without my ear plugs in. That '94 is friggin' loud.

Not today, but yesterday I threw my shoulder and lungs out trying to get a 395xp running. Looking for a carb to try in place of the Tillotson. Anyone have a known functional replacement I can try? I'll pay shipping to and from.

Those Tilly's are usually dead reliable. Did you pull all the Welch plugs? Pressure test it?
