Hmmm, never saw one of those that tight. Do you suppose someone put red loctite on it? You were turning it lefty loosey, right? With the clutch having left hand threads and flywheels having right hand threads, it's easy to get confused on that.
Try a electric impact first and make sure it is turning to right when you take it off, if that doesn't work try a air impact. Worked great on my 394xp clutch. Just have to be careful and be 100% sure your going the right direction and using correct size socket. Electric impact works great for tightening it back on too, just be careful. I wouldn't use the air impact on tightening it, too powerful. I usually put a piece of rope in the cylinder down sparkplug hole method, but sometimes they are on there really tight.... my .02

To the right would be the wrong way on the flywheel. They have normal (right hand) threads. That's why I inquired because ya have to pay attention to which end of the crank you're turning nuts on. Also, I recommend to never use any kind of piston stop when using an impact. It's not necessary and could cause damage.

After work went to my unkles place to cut 4 small maples. 2 about 8 inch and other two about 12 inchs on the stump. Then came home and changed the oil in the truck. Good for another 5000 ks.

Wife wanted some small trees removed from yard so I got out the smallest saw I had, an Echo 330T 12" and cleared 'em out. I'm so out of shape from laying around all winter...

I was with some friends at a lake a town over:

Was told to bring my Dolmar PS-7900 along, got pointed to this:
DSC00379.JPG
Windblown partially rotten beech, the big branch was just shy of 20".
They didn't let me take down the standing "piece" of the tree:

My Dolmar PS-7900 and "ported" TriLink semi chisel loop had no problem dismantling the downed tree top:

The job helped working up an appetite for the main course:

It was a nice day too, all in all a good Sunday/weekend.

Left for Myrtle Beach on monday with my uncles 2015 cummins pulling my hemi on a trailer, made it to Richmond and the DEF pump went out of the cummins with 23,000 miles on it. Of course they didn't have the pump at the dealer, so they couldn't get till nxt day, when the DEF goes bad the truck shuts down to 5 mph after 100 miles, so you had better find a dealer soon. Unloaded my hemi hooked into the 14,000 lb trailer and made it Myrtle Beach, my friend had a cummins there so he took that trailer and we loaded up a truck there, then I hooked into 24" enclosed trailed there and headed back to Richmond, made it 15 mules from my uncles truck and my wheen bearing went out of my L front, I made it slowly to his truck where we had tools, changed it in the parking lot, we swapped trucks and my friend headed back south while we headed for PA, finally made it home at 11 pm. What a trip. No more trips south this year.lol

Sounds like you need to stop buying Dodge trucks and purchase something more reliable.:)

Nothing more reliable then a Dodge, my truck is 9 years old and that is the first part I have put on it besides brakes and rotors, and for pot hole state of PA that is very good, the DEF is just government regulated BS, if it wasn't under warranty it would be deleted. They make good and bad in all brands, but I will NEVER drink the other kool-aid. Mopar or no-car in this family.
