Almost new 562XP. 12 hours on it. Did a little go fast work to it.
Very niceFresh off the bench. Brand new and ported. It’s got about a 1/2 tank through it total in the video. Running the 18” bar and .325 semi chisel safety chain it came with.
Thanks Gunner. I actually wanted to run it with 3/8 but I seem to of misplaced all my small spline 3/8 sprockets. I’ll have to add a couple of those to my next parts order.Very nice
Would be cool to see some 3/8 on it man whatarippa.
My Makita 9000 was 10-15% faster with a 8 pin vs 7 pin 3/8 with a 32” full comp chain in red oak much to my surprise. I still like 7 pin on .325, 3/8 and .404 for working though and will just file the chain a little more aggressive to compensate.More teeth on .325", narrower kerf too, makes it smoother, maybe even faster?
For whatever reason, I like the feel of .325" better than 3/8", both Stihl RS - on my PS-9010.
I like an 8 pin more, then a aggressive field chain. I think it is more relaxed to work with, as a grabby chainMy Makita 9000 was 10-15% faster with a 8 pin vs 7 pin 3/8 with a 32” full comp chain in red oak much to my surprise. It’s possible to get aggressive and smooth at the same time but it’s a very very fine line though.I like an 8 pin more, then a aggressive field chain. I think it is more relaxed to work with, as a grabby chain
