That's pretty loose - I think I would address that.
Have you rebuilt many of these it’s my first time in one…I it won’t be worth it money wise to do bearings and p and c if that stiffer is too bad…i will just have to part her out or sell for what I paid (which won’t happen paid to much for this one lol)….what would a used one of these go for all fixed up and ready to work??

I have rebuilt a couple 562’s, but in the end I got factory shortblocks. Both times I rebuilt them, the bearings failed in less than five hours. If you need a crankcase splitter, I could sell you mine.

I don’t waste my time or money on blown up 562’s anymore. I lost my ass on a couple. Used 562’s only bring $450-550 around here depending on the year and condition. Most people know by now that they eat crank bearings.

Yep that’s what happened here, sadly…I either slap cheap p and c in and let Jesus take the wheel or part it out….prob get more parting it out honestly…

Should have never bit on a damn husky lol…

I will say been few years since rebuilt any saws looks like the money would be in selling parts…unless you get a pro saw cheap as hell there ain’t no profit there!!!

And even if you do get the saw reasonably priced, you still have to sell it which then you have to deal with the public….*s-word looks like if I get back into playing with saws it will be part selling, unless get a spotless saw that don’t need much work….and I’m staying the hell away from a husky (just kidding)….i wanted to get this one goin so bad because I heard how good they are, minus the bad design that causes the crank bearings to go!!!!!

I've rebuilt quite a few and have a 555 with a ported 562 top end I've been running for about seven years (my 555 has stuffers). I've seen a few wiped out by stuffer issues. They are more involved to split the case on than old saws but with the right tools, it's pretty easy.

That’s the thing I’m rednecki g it over here lol…if they can be done like Stihl saws I could probably manage…but I’ll have to price out parts because I bet I will be more into this saw than I could sell
It for…what would a decent 562 being, ballpark??

I can't really say - it's been years since I've sold a saw. I see there are brand new Mark II's on eBay for $900.00, which likely means you would get around half (or just over) that price for a used one. Going on the information you've presented, I would say your best bet is to part it out.
