I did not delete anything, and I get that. My point was that it got to where the pot was calling the kettle black.

These are probably my favorite size saw class to run. 24” bar, stihl rs 3/8, 7 pin in white pine.
The ported 372xp ended up being very comparable to my ported 572xp and ported 7900 with the same chain. The log might have varied a little and the chain dulled over time. I can’t say for sure. But those things seem to have stayed fairly consistent.

Meh. She runs pretty good.

Most of my business is repairs. Working on neglected equipment most days. I try to do my best work and can see the difference in mine and others. That being said, I do enjoy the change of pace. Machining is fascinating to me. I'm just a retired chef and glad to out of the rat race. Don't miss it at all. It's much more enjoyable to cook for friends and family for fun now.

Even if your stuff is .05 second slower than someone else’s saw that they didn’t port themselves you can take pride in it and say yeah “I” ported this saw. That counts for something imo.
