Dumb question,
Would you consider trying an 066 jug on the saw?
They aren’t much physically larger than the 046 jug, and many of us have AM’s floating around. The big bores are even readily available.
It’s funny, the physical jug size jump from 026 to 036 is astounding. Telling an 036 from a straight finned 044 jug visually difficult (as you recall when I welded up that “044” jug for you and realized it was an 036 afterwards). Same thing with 046 vs 066-not that different externally. Might need a head because of the large stroke of the 1122.
Have you tried husky cylinders?Guess I've never looked at the 066/660 jug.
Because I never expected to get 30-50% more displacement from this chassis..
Seems it is easy to find a taller piston than shorter. May be able to make a 661 piston work for the big bore jug.
Anyone have a 066/660 cylinder they could get the bolt pattern measurements from?
