I would be if it was everything but the P&C, otherwise too much stuff to find.
Install one end of the clip, put your thumb over 90% of it, push the other end into the pin channel and then into the groove. Use a small flat screwdriver.I'm putting the saw back together. Even though the outside looks battered, it now has new bearing & seals and all new rubber, and will get that nice ported 046-D jug that Al did, so I'm really looking forward to it.
Two things that really frustrate me:
1) Anyone know any trick for installing those new green Stihl gas lines in a reasonable amount of time? I lubricated it and tied a piece of wire to it to help pull it through, and it still took me about an hour to get it in right. THERE MUST BE A BETTER WAY!!!
2) Any advice on installing those piston clips??? I know Stihl makes a special tool for it, but you would need to get one for each piston pin size. Luckily, the local dealer did it for me no charge, before I launched the darn thing into outer space.
Back to work on the saw!

Anyone who installs circlips without the proper Stihl approved tool has just not spent enough time watching my video
it really is badass when used right, but sometimes as my son pointed out I am so very full of fail![]()
I try to use that little notch to hold the first end of the clip, hold with thumb while carefully pushing the other end in with a small screw driver. The last Highway kit I did came with 2 sets, one with wings and one without.
