I think I posted this before.

I asked Levi what they used on their 4 trucks. “They do almost all their assembly and tear outs with cordless stuff.
He wasn’t much help.
They got 4 trucks. Said his truck was all Bosch
The newest truck was all Makita
Johnny’s truck was all Hilti? That sound right?
And the 2nd newest truck was all Milwaukee..

Seems they use whatever Jeff gets the best deal on when the truck is bought and outfitted.

Hilti is about the best out there. I wish they made chainsaws.

Bosch has a new impact that saw the standard 1/4 drive then a 1/2 lug on the out side for sockets. Only down side is the corner cutting on the inside of their stuff.

MO Son in Law just got that new Bosch. I saw it last weekend and it's really a nice tool. The other SIL owns every tool Milwaukee makes. I tease him that if Milwaukee made breakfast cereal, he would gobble it up. Tools, drills, bits, 4 of the tool chests, & heated vests. But, I have to admit, he picks wonderful Christmas gifts! I now have a set of the 12V driver and drill, plus the 12V 3/8 drive impact that kicks out enough torque to take lug nuts off.

Good morning everyone

Could someone point me in the direction for info to repair stripped plastic screw holes on 371/372 handlebar screws.
Thanks

I’ve used your ordinary 5mm Helicoil inserts on Farm Boss chassis/tubs. Changeover from a self tapping plastic screw to a machine thread.

I think Kevin @huskihl dod this with some melted trimmer string iirc.
Yep. If it’s just the AV mounts, you can shove a piece of trimmer line in there that’s a little bit long and just thread the screw into it. If there’s a hole in the gas tank, or if you want to start over fresh, I heated up the end of a piece of trimmer line and melted it and kept packing it down into the hole. And then redrilled. Good to go with no leaks

Mostly Dewalt here. Plus some Metabo. Been thinking about trying the 60volt flex volt battery on my 20V dewalt Chainsaw. Handy little thing. No starting. Just pull the trigger. Keep it in the loader. Aways a need for a little trimming.
The flex batteries are the best thing that happened to the 20 volt line.
