Subbed...good thread guys.

Are you going to cut base and squish or delete the base gasket?

I measured bore, then put peice of paper in cylinder to match curve and traced port then pulled paper out and put it around piston to see where it was on it, added my 65% then layed paper back on piston to check. Does that sound about rite?

i started opening the entrance to the transfer port. You can see on the untouched side how restricted it would have been. Sure this will help improve air / fuel flow.

Looking good. You're going to love those removable transfer covers when you get to the upper transfers.

this is what you want its easy to clean up all the dirko hondabond etc. are a little tougher for clean up but work great on clamshells in my experience.

I think the seal all is kind of a glue, Idk if I would use it. but I have never tried it.

Ok. I might even have some permatex will have to look

Most common permatex is silicone based. It's been said that silicone will soften over time when used in gas. If it's not a big deal, get motoseal. Otherwise, silicone is probably fine

The stuff David showed would be perfect also. Might be cheaper too given the smaller sized tube
