Great thread Randy.

It's good to do build threads every now and again. Keeps everyone interested and also serves as a reminder of the quality of work you do.

Your work always has me feeling like I gotta step up my game bud.

If you builders come across some who is talking down your work send that person a $15 dremel and a bad head and see what they come up with.

It'll probably be silence!

Fire away with the questions Chris.

The threads are so much better when people stop worrying about whether or not their question is a good one or not.

The pressure I put on top of the jug with the live center is what keeps it from slipping. I only take .010" off on each pass so there's not too much resistance.
I also drill/tap for an M5/M6 bolt through the exhaust or intake port. Acts as a dog. Added insurance in case the jug wants to spin. Speed/feed no doubt can deter this but it has happened to me b4. Pop a number 19 or 9 jobber drill in the cordless and drill/tap straight through while the jug is on the mandrel. Screw in the bolt and voila!!!
