Yes sir Pat. The Echos are very reasonably priced.

I think the carb is gonna be my choke point on this one. But, I can probably make a pretty good runner out of it.

I wish I would have made a baseline cut with it. It's a lot different than the 500P that I was used to doing.

I can make a cleaner cut with hand ground HSS. I can grind it with a nice radius and make a slick finish.

how much do blades and belts run for those?

I'll take it up to 103. I like 105 on most 50cc saws, but 103 is where I like the 60cc.

At my store pretty much all blades are $12.00 each, belts can vary greatly, pump belt is probably ~$40.00, deck belt ~$85.00 or so

I don't do anything special. I think about all the wild stuff that is done on race saws......and I'm a little jealous of the skills that some of those guys have. I need to up my game a lot.

Regardless of who does a build thread in always enjoy reading them and checking out what the builder has done. I am especially interested in uncommon saws or saws that are great but unappreciated. I like newer echo's myself...
