I can't believe how primative these new 362s make my 036 look. The 036 is so simple and straight forward to work on.

I still can't wait to see the 501p after your done with it. Beautiful grinding as usual.

I can't get over how clean and organized your bench always looks too. Gives me something to strive for.

Maybe I have missed it somewhere in the annals of the various porting threads here, but what's the theory behind the 2-stage transfers??

The mains are normally bigger.......so opening them first when the pressure is the highest gives them a chance to build inertia before the other ports open.

At least in my pea brain that's how I see it.

No sir. The main passage is a little bigger.

Kick me in the sack Saturday if Im steppin on your toes Randy but to clarify for Wayne, the mains are the smaller openings toward the exhaust on the inside of the jug.

I do apologize if I read either post incorrectly. I will still sleep well tonight but sorry.:D
