@Catbuster I got the 8 kinda as a lark

The longer thinner bit than the fe6 sticks more

I think it will make a decent 1 swing limber šŸ˜†

It could also be considered a blank slate to make whatever you want….

Has anyone seen or heard anything about Council Tool releasing a 4lb ish wedge banger based on their 5lber?

Rooster from Council had mentioned they were working on back in June.

I’ve been using that 6 lb council fire ax that you modified for me, I’m really liking it.

The red one on the handle is prolly 4lb, I think slasher

The black one is around 3lb I think. Might add a chunk to the poll to make it a banger.
Still holding out on Council Tool to see what they come out with for a lighter weight wedge banger, otherwise I have been thinking about adding a bit more poll weight and width to something around 3lbs with 26-28" straight handle.

I have seen some nice custom axes being offered but I am not one to be dropping $300+ to pound wedges.

Thank you for the offer,

I sat and bs d with Rooster from Council Tool about wedge bangers at a GTG back in June, going off what he said at that bs session he thought they might have a 4ish lb based on their 5lb wedge banger around Oct-Dec of this year.

Are you coming to the Mn GTG in Dec as a winter getaway? :meparto:
