can you pic/measure the profile angle? Bit/cutting edge.

I got a couple rounds of euc that weren't too bad and split them with my 5lb council axe on my lunch break. Lot less work than a maul. Getting better at finding and exploiting the weaknesses in the wood.
I guessing 25 - 30 included angle, can’t find my bevel finder ,

I had to roll a log out to mill it today, so I dragged out two of my peaveys to add to this thread as well. There's an additional 1 or 2 hanging around but I couldn't find them.

The 1st one is an Oshkosh that came off a neighbor's shop wall. He acquired it somewhere and welded up all the cracks from inside of the head to show off it's character and hung it on his wall. I got it, saw a handle would be $60+ at the hardware store and whittled down a maple branch instead, which has been going strong for 5+ years.

The 2nd I believe I got from a retired logger, I bit the bullet and bought a handle for it since the point is welded in and I didn't want to have to build a jig to bore a perfectly centered hole for the point. To keep this somewhat on track, the last pic is of the 1st peavey working and one of my axes waiting to bump the knots on the log.
