I just about stepped on this while hiking along my brother's place the other day, I could see "Kelly Works" but the part that would have said Flint Edge, Hand Forged, Red Warrior, etc was too far gone. Right now it's hanging out on my bench waiting for me to get caught up on my other projects.

Initial testing says this thing kicks butt!! Iltis ox head splitting axe from Lee valley. They make it for stihl. They also make a larger maul I might have to try. Split that Euc knot in two whacks. Rarely gets stuck and comes right out. If it bounces it’s not a hard or shocking bounce. Gonna flog it at work more tomorrow.

I was looking at my Collins Legitimus and noticed I think the hollows were an aftermarket modification. I wonder if that would help my council splitter stick less, along with some polishing.

I have that same one, but I’ve got the big splitting maul made by Gedore, Ostenfartsenraisins, or some thing similar.

Splits allmost as good as my Gransforsbrukenraisins splitting maul. For the $$, probably the best splitting maul out there !!!

@Moparmyway from looking at the profile and watching vids, I think the GB would get stuck in my stuff more than I’d like.
