Trippple nickel...maybe not the fastest but its small light, reliable and performs good. All orange too which means its stronger. And small mount means you can run little light bars. I would'nt trade it for a 562...that's just me.

When I look at my row of saws and want to do work that requires a solid 60cc saw I look down the line from my 390xp, then to the ported 064, through the dd372, past the 357xp and right to the 346xp. :campeon:. Lol.

I like my 361. I was impressed with Awol's 562 also.

I have one of the Ver I 362 Cs, and I like it, but the ported 262 will out run it (but they don't have M-Tronic and AV). Now the Ver II 362 is about 1/2 lb lighter, which means it's weight is a good deal less than most of the 60 cc saws being discussed here (including the 562, but not the J Red).

IMO, it should get more respect than it gets. They run pretty darn good with just a muff mod and are very competitive with any other unported 60 cc saw out there.

Oh, and I almost forgot, you can swap B&C with your big boy saws w/o any issues, and advantage IMO over all the small mount 60 cc saws.

036/360 and 262XP

They can be made to perform very well quite simply, have very few parts to break, and are dead reliable. No electronic gadgetry to deal with.

I leave a ported 036 with a 20" bar gassed in my garage for the occasional suprise across my driveway. There's nothing in my area that it can't handle by itself.

Stock RedTop Dolmar PS-6400 , maybe with MM! :icon12:

Yes I mean what I wrote!

I don't mind her having a little meat on her bones, she just feels "right" to me.
I do like her sister the PS-7900 too though, but she's 80cc class and thus doesn't count.

When I go cut someone's firewood logs I take 'em both along, just gotta love twins with different character! ;)
I wish I had their triplet sister Dolmar PS-7300 too.

I would really love to give a Dolmar PS-6100 a try!
I've been reading good things about her.

Yes, I'd grab a 555 or 2260 over a 562xp. Prefer the small mount myself.

That said, the 562xp is extremely impressive !

I liked my ported 362c but it doesnt have the nasty attitude the 562 does imo
