Here's some 90cc saws,the 395 is very mild
I like the 2nd saw most (394), the first and forth stuttered and seemed to take too much of a bite.
I do realize that those are 4 different saws with 4 individual chains, thus part of the difference between the saws behavior could be due to the chains they're pulling.

Is there a solution/mod for the 7900 oil pumps.

A 28" bar is about long as I feel safe running it oil wise.

Sent from my non internal combustion device.
My PS-7900 has no issues oiling a 36"/115DL setup!
I have to say that my PS-7900 is a 2003. build, newer ones could have received changes to the pump - most likely EPA ordered.

Easiest thing You can do trying to get more oil to the chain is widen the oiler hole in Your bar, that will open up a choke point and help reduce flow resistance.
I am pretty satisfied with my modded oiler holes.
Only two of my bars have ONE of the two oiler holes widened, that allows me to determine whether there is any difference in oiling capacity by simply flipping the bar.

If the pump pushes the right volume to begin with oiler hole size is moot; unless we are talking about the itty bitty holes on Sugi bars...

The oiler on the 6400/7900 series is widely known and accepted. There is something wrong when bar tips on 32's get hot and rails get cooked out. Or when you go to fill your oil and it's still 1/3-1/2 full!

Take the plunger out of the oiler and cut the ramp at a steeper angle. Problem solved!

Does 87cc count as a 90cc saw? If so how about the super 250's better half, the Mac 660? Will the real 660 please stand up? I sure hope it ain't got orange in it, though it likely does today.

For sale?
Eventually. Just got it today. It's a bit rough and locked up tight but it has a cool back story. She spent 5-6 years under a brush pile after it was lost by a logger. The guy that found has had it in his garage for quite a few years. It's actually in good shape for what it's been through.
