I sure ain't packing that in the bush all day lol

The only ones I remember having to cut the bar wrench down for where the 372’s full wraps, the 390’s weren’t an issue as long as it was the stubby style.

Know what I found that works real good for warp handles.
Is a quarter inch ratchet brain freeze .ratchet with a 6 Point 13 mm short socket

No thanks even in the combo cans it’s one more thing to lose when they take a tumble off a stump that you get to go looking for.

I will go as far as a modified bar wrench, but that's it. I'm always loosing crap in the bush, I don't know how many piggy back gas cans I've misplaced lol. Even smashed a couple when I placed them on stumps and the felling goes haywire! Every ounce counts out here, I even fight in my head about saving weight by using skip chain vs full comp. I know its nit picken but I ain't no spring chicken anymore and after a days sawing I still have to pack my arse out of the brush with all my extra junk
You win you got me beat on the bush

288's full wraps and 266 were a bugger to get wrenches on, that's the good part about stihls 3/4 wraps I guess

One thing that I have learned over the years every situation is different .everybody has what works for them .doesn’t mean that it works for the other person.
Ohh I hear you, I just wished it was easier for us timber tramps. Little crap like Stihl flippy caps is a real bugger with cold hands and wet half frozen gloves.

https://www.ebay.com/itm/185256947017 I’ve had this tool for years. Works well and you can do minor emergency repair work in the field with the amount of tools that come on it. Takes up less space in your pocket than a scrench and doesn’t fall out of your pocket as easily. I won’t go into the woods without it. Lol 92B40632-639F-4735-B7F1-8E8126E72583.png

It's actually been really cold all January, but yesterday it got up to 62° The temperature is going to drop tomorrow/Friday a day is going down to around 0. -30° is a hard no think you. Here in southern Ohio we can have bad winters, and othere years basically no winter at all.

I agree. I like it.
First day put tank of fuel in there it didn’t take much to get it started several pulls.
The only thing that I have noticed a couple my mornings have been really cold. It seem like it took a little more to get it started like it did not like the cold mornings were talking about 30s
