HELP! 500i or 462 for processor.

From when I cut the log to the next cut can be 45 sec. To 1.5 mins. I sometimes shut the saws off or let it idle.
when grabbing another log I shut the saws off.
which saw would be better for this task, fuelie or mtronic?
Should I just let them idle the whole time?

The 500 I’ve used the most gets hard to re-start if you don’t let it idle after a cut. Could be my elevation, but it would be a problem for what you’re doing. I don’t run a 462 enough to know if it has the same issues.

500i. I just let mine idle. Sometimes I have two saws idling at once.
