Can someone with a better ipl than the one I have please post the part number difference between the 084 and 880 intake boots?
The number I have listed for both is 1124-141-2201.

manifold 084, 088: 1124 141 2201 as you`ve already said. This manifold was also used on the MS 880 up to the model update in 2009.

The newer manifold is 1124 141 2202 and can only be used with the newer cylinder. The new cylinder is distinguished by threads on the exhaust flange for the new mounting of the muffler and a revised intake flange for the new manifold.
