This years wood or next years Ryan? Either way nice neat and simple stacks! Beautiful pic!

These are 32" splits of mostly softwood. I'll burn it in March making maple syrup. I've got 10 or 11 filled right now. I'd like to have 25, but I'll need more racks and more wood. They hold about 40% of a cord.

Between the metal post and the middle of concrete bench is mostly locust...not pictured in the backyard is about a half a cord of locust mixed with Osage orange.
We have a good bit of locust here at our place, I like it a lot, lots of heat. I've never got to cut osage or burnt it. I know where some is, not much around these parts, but plenty of other decent hardwoods.
I'm going to cut up a bit of locust tonight or tomorrow for a friends dad, needs to be cut to 10" for his little potbelly stove. Dropped a dead standing tree the other night and cut all the small branches up already, just need to cut the rest and split it up, should be plenty in the tree to have a bit left to bring right in the house .

Hi guys, long time since I've posted....Been moving, building roads, building an addition...and cutting trees! Lots of trees! For firewood and my corduroy road/ driveway. I think I had more chainsaw time this summer than all other years combined. Anyway, some nice looking wood piles you guys have. I envy those with stacks of hardwood.
