I just caught myself reminiscing How and why I joined Arborist Site then How and when I ended up here on OPE.
AS was for me I needed answers on my Stihl 056 MAGNUM II then a few months later I was introduced to OPE by Definitive Dave. (First I knew Dave was on AS)
I began thinking that it would be a good thread for members to share what drew them join to OPE.
If you wish to ignore the truth you can embellish as much as your imagination is. able. Don't be surprised with comments you get.

I was asked by a member on AS if I could help a porter on this site that was having a problem with a saw after porting and modding it. It was a saw I had done over and over dozens of them. I did cure his problem and stuck around for the entertainment value. I knew Randy for a long spell before he started this site.
