Who's running 592s and 585s?

Something doesn't seem right on the 592 weight. Husky lists it 16.2 I think or more. I held a west coast version, it sure didn't feel tons lighter than a 395. Still felt high 16s low 17s to me.

I dont have to pack saws far from anywhere now, if I did something like the 592xp would definitely make sense for some monster trees.
I could definitely see the benefit of the weight for production type cutting.
Last big tree I cut I only had to walk about 500yards with a 394xp to cut ,so not bad, 5 miles might be a different story.

Those are the max hp and tq numbers in the box, you will have to approximate at what rpm the values are from by reading the graph.
Only took 2 years but I finally figured how to get the max values in the box !

This is what mine weighed straight out of the box. That's with the side cover, Husqvarna always excludes the clutch cover when weighing their saws.

MS661 that was also new before fuel or oil was added. Yes my dealer knows me and doesn't bother with the normal dealer prep deal. So just one ounce between the 661 and 592.

Yup the the wrap handle and bigger spikes and larger clutch cover will add an additional one to one and a half pounds. The half wrap 572 and 592 come with the reduced profile clutch cover, it's quite light.

You kinda think about it 16 pounds for a powerhead that goes for husky and stihl.
In the 90 class cc saw. that’s not bad that’s not heavy either for that type of power at. It’s when you start putting them bars on now . that way for 5 pounds that starts to add up.

Both saws are quite lightweight for the power and capability they offer. Reduced weight bars do make a difference. Yeah fuel oil and the bar & chain adds a considerable amount of weight.

Bothe the 592 and 661 with full tanks.

I’m not surprised. There’s might be a turd in the cat box somewhere but I’ve never been less than impressed with an XS saw. Kevin builds a helluva saw.
