Adding a ported cylinder onto this nice 2165.

Thanks [emoji106] back at you,I like red saws.

I like the creativity of the epoxy quad port 350 cylinder you did Last week. that Saw run good

Oh I said I kinda wrong and corrected myself. I built up epoxy to grind into the covers and correct the *f-worded up angles they have. It’s all sealed up with epoxy and build up mating surfaces so I could get the blowdown and angles I wanted after machining

It didn’t have that buzzy swarmy 350 husky sound anymore. My attempt was to keep velocities up in the transfers and correct the angles of flow
I got a 2149 I played in those removable transfer covers. I like that saw a lot it really likes the 357xp intake and big azz muffler.

Your bench looks neater than mine ' I need to get some peg board up so I can hang and organize tools .

Just finished an early 034 that had the control switch messed up , kept binding so a bit of adjustment and it's good to go .

Got several projects saws I have to get at , 346 , 357 and 262 as well as a 272 I may be getting .
Where did you get that cool looking Drill index box ?

This cylinder has lots of built in restrictions. Lol main one is the chrome not going all the way to the squish band and you can’t machine much out of them unless you want to snag a ring on that lip. But overall it runs good and good practice. I much rather start with a 346 cylinder over this one and not play catch-up but that would take the fun out of it right? Lol

Installed a new top end on a 390 xtra pee with only a few minutes of run time on it...
50/50 mix of water and fuel found in the tank.

Two 540t's, a 435t, a shinny t-242, a 562xp with 80#'s of squeeze and a 465 handle/trigger/presence lever replacement that was crushed.
Not bad for half a day.
