I already have a spot for it on the shelves and a new 28" here too, I do have to get a new RS chain.
Air injection on these things is amazing. Cut for 3 tanks of fuel and barely any dust or chips on the filter.

He says it's gonna have a 24 or 28" bar on it. He must have big shelves :sisi3:

So he’s in a wheel chair and he wants a ported 90cc saw? Talk about eccentric. Lol

You can’t make this schit up! 76 years old, bad knees and hips, wheelchair bound, diabeetus..... His grandson sort of runs the ‘firewood business’ along with his long time helper. He has a rather diverse saw collection: Dolmar 9010, Dolmar 6400, Echo 590, Stihl 461 (with a bow bar on it) and a Husqy 51.

Got to play at work yesterday. Owner of the tree service I work at two days a week wanted a "fun saw". Ported, timing advance and a hefty muffler mod. Not a bad looking 2011 model. It needed a few new parts Lol. Been in the field it's whole life. I'll have a video up next week. Raining sideways yesterday IMG_2847.JPG IMG_2848.JPGIMG_2849.JPG

So i am looking at this Dolmar 9010 and it has a stripped, out boogered up, attempted fixed bar stud hole. Looking more closely i see the saw has 2 sets of bar stud mounts. Can I just utilize the 2nd set of holes? Has anyone done this? The case is pre-drilled and tapped, the cover is partially pre-drilled. No idea what year this was manufactured as the data plate is missing.

I had to use the second set of bar stud mounts on an early dcs9000. Nice that the clutch cover has partially drilled holes. Takes all the math out of it ;-) Worked fine after relocating the studs.

Great! I don’t think he will mind having extra holes in the cover

Three saws came in today from my favorite Tree Guy. Two will be easy, a recoil on an 044 and a clutch bearing on a MS660.

The third saws is a MS461 with a stripped spark plug hole. This must be a weakness on these saws, had another one come in last year with the same problem from another tree guy. (ended up finding a used jug for that one). I've got the repair kit, we will see how it goes.

Finally found a solid oem 3/4 wrap for my @Canadian farm boy

Hope yours screams like mine does, CFB builds a real strong running hybrid. Mine took a little time to break in to reach it's full potential. Mine is Black with a standard handle, and a D jug. With a 28" light bar it has great power/weight ratio.

One set is for Large Stihl 3002 mount and the other set is for Large Husky D009 mount bolts. It look like your damaged one is to the 3002 mount hole.

D009 gives you more options for bars so I'd just order up a set of those studs and carry on like it never happened.

If it's yours replace both axles with a set of cromoly axles. Those won't break near as easy.
Yea it's mine and for now I'm taking one out of a spare but will be talking to a friend of mine who can get some stronger ones for me at a cheaper price than most.

We are going to need pics lol. You will be very happy with better axles.
