Went to the recycler today and noticed they had a bunch of chainsaws in their trash bin so I picked out three and bought them, an 025C, an 026 and an Echo top handle saw, all three for $30. I think the Echo and the 025 will run with minimal effort. The 026 has a trashed piston and a few parts missing.

Finished fixing an FS55 yesterday....no spark so a put a good used coil on....went to tighten the screw and somehow I snapped the darn thing.....anyhow drilled that out and put a new one in.
Then worked on an fs55 bike handle trimmer...it needed typical fuel system work. And now two more happy customers that can mow their lawns. lol

My Dad would do it! Let a vehicle even think about acting up! To town for a new truck he would go!! :D! Riding mowers even hiccup and he had a new one!!

My Dad grew up farming so it would get ham fisted to oblivion durning repairs and then halfassed fixed. I usually jist cut straight to the half assed fixn lol.

I have used these with good success, always Red Loctite the insert in and then I take a long punch and peen around the insert on the inside of the cylinder.
