I thought maybe. It has some similarities to the 920/930.2094

Mityvac it, update the inlet clamp to steel, support the muffler.Picked up a husky 350 with a scored piston the other day. Cylinder(aluminium transfer) cleaned up pretty nice...minus a slight vertical groove above the exhaust port....a new chinesium piston on the way. If the existing cylinder has problems I may look for a good used 346xp cylinder/piston...
Never worked on these little 350s before...any model specific input would be appreciated.
Will do. Much appreciated. After its running the plan is to run it stock for a tank or so....then port the chit out of it.Mityvac it, update the inlet clamp to steel, support the muffler.
Great little saws otherwise.
I could use a little. My adapter for my 395 didn’t fit my 288 so I ordered metric tubing and made rings that fit over the bar studs. The tubing was pretty long so I have a lot of them if anyone wants some.
Remind me in the CNC building tomorrow ;-)I could use a little.
TIA
I’d jb weld the hole and drill a new hole over the jb weld, fit a nice snugged normal fuel line threw?I always have something on my bench but rarely anything too interesting to post here. But today I was going through an ugly duckling 266se and found something I haven't come across before. What size fuel line grommet do you suppose goes in that large "custom" fuel line hole in the top of the tank?

Yea , that’s a custom job.I always have something on my bench but rarely anything too interesting to post here. That's what I'm thinking. Shame to throw away a good tank because of something like that. Here is what was installed for a grommet when I took the saw apart. Yes it leaked like a sieve. I guess it was just too muck to ask to get the proper grommet from Husqvarna - nope, gonna drill out this $200 tank and fixr my own way. Watch this!I’d jb weld the hole and drill a new hole over the jb weld, fit a nice snugged normal fuel line threw?
Excellent job bringing that old saw back to "like new" condition.Just finished building this, and running the fool out of it. Great saw, lots of power for its size. New from the inside out! There’s a few used parts for sure but all the major components are new. Sachs Dolmar 143. 95cc’s. I built this one with a metal tank so it’s a bit heavier than its brother with the plastic tank. It’s prettier than a plastic tank I think. I’ll have one with a plastic tank up shortly. Pretty saw hope you like. I actually did try that route, but met with failure. The hole is so large there is no lip on one side - just a wall so there is nothing from a grommet to "bite" on that side of the hole (near the wrap handle). I'm thinking JB Weld like @JD22 suggested as my next plan of attack.Any, particularly size ? View attachment 367420
Husqvarna has been doing a lot to piss me off lately. I mean jb weld or even plastic weld would do the trick I believe. Like plastic weld a strip of plastic at the top maybe about 1/16in thick or thicker and drill a hole and fit a grommet. I’ve done it that way many times and it worked great. That's what I'm thinking.
