Gotta love those Honda vtwins. I still have a soft spot for rc51's. But try and find a nice one these days.
You can but they go for north of 6k. IMO they’re the hottest Japanese bike ever.
For a good laugh, excuse the wife’s commentary, I ran against a buddy that had one. I out drove him 3/3.

Cheapskate, just pay the $25.62 ereplacementparts.com wants for the j-red kit, and that's including shipping straight to your door.

Hmm, I revise that. The "kit" just appears to be the screws. Anyhow, based off of my interwebz hunting I believe the handles are the same. I'm beginning to wonder if J-red didn't offer wrap kits like Husky? @Spike60

Lol! I wasnt trying to be cheap, i really have not looked to far into it. Looked at the 2260 IPL and got that number and the just referenced it to the 562 #. Not the same for the kit. But i see the wrap has the same number. The dog kit is off by 1 number. R the cases different slightly?

I've not seen a wrap handle/dawg kit for the new Jreds like there is for the Huskies. I think it's because Jreds sell in much lower quantities and the market for those saws tends to be more specialized.

I don't know about the 562/2260 but some of the Husky handles do cross over.

One of my buddies dropped off an 044 that just stopped running lol. Good grief the air filter tells a pretty good story, gonna clean her up and see what it needs. I am hoping the jug is salvageable. It still blows 140 so I hope it stopped running before it did to much damage.

Toro Recycler with a Kohler Courage XT675, got a new choke thermostat for the auto choke system. He also brought me his FS94R that the muffler came loose on. Put the muffler back on and put some red locktite on the screws. Also found a missing starter pawl so I ordered a new cup/pawl assembly. He has a backup trimmer to use while I'm waiting for parts.

Its in the wrong side of the case?

Yes sir.

I started stripping the saw because the case gasket failed, leaking bar oil, pulled the front upper case screw, very short, wtf?

Helicoil appeared to just be holding the dog, no case compression.

Worst thing, the thread in the flywheel side case is 100% perfect and undamaged, never needed to happen.
