First saw on the dyno today to test how loud the sounds are that emanates from my garage to surrounding area of next door neighbours.

With all windows closed, exhaust vents open and 24 inch exhaust fan on, the people in my house barely heard a wide open dual port muffler 660 under load on the dyno.

Awesome. And no mess of wood chips and logs anywhere for neighbours to complain about.

After the warm up, proceeded to load the saw.

Saw dies. Sheared another flywheel key.

So there’s gotta be an issue with the way the flywheel goes on the crank.

Husqvarna push mower with Briggs 550EX.
Replaced the busted recoil with a new OEM one and got the running issue sorted out. Running issue was a dirty carburetor, half an hour in the ultrasonic cleaner got it perfectly clean. Also changed the oil, blew out the air filter, checked the plug, installed a fuel filter, scraped the underside of the deck, touched up the blade and washed it. Getting delivered tomorrow after work.

Started taking the MS440 apart. Here are couple photos trying to show the cylinder and piston. Let me know what y’all think. Judging by looking at it I might be able to clean the piston and cylinder and just replace the rings. Correct me if I am wrong oil on the plug indicates failing rings??

That looks fine to me. Was this the one that had lower than normal compression?
