Got the Toro Recycler with Kohler up and running, a thorough carb clean got it running. Couldn't find anything in the carb, my thought is that it got a little piece of dirt in it. Installed an inline fuel filter to hopefully prevent it from happening again.

Tried on my new boots for fall. Wore them for a couple hours to start breaking them in.

As you have named me here i'll reply mate.
I'm not taking sides in this. Geographical separation means i may never face to face meet anyone i "know" from here, and that pains me. I would gladly share a sausy roll and a flavourless commercial brew with you, or any member.
The above post is well written, so why would you so often in your own words "riddle"? Folks in the main are time poor, add that to the written interwebs inability to convey the nuances of tone or expression that help explain sarcasm or wit, and you leave yourself in a position where your reader might just glide past because it's not convenient to unravel the subtleties. You know that i do read all posts on the pages i follow, because i have questioned you on some of those very words.
The Kenny who wrote this is articulate and measured. We don't always see that. If its tiredness or stress, maybe take time out from here at those times.

Adam.

edit. @cuinrearview and @huskihl do you two do what's on your bench?
I've reassessed. The beer and pastry are off the table sorry @lightfingered performance.

What's amazing is my old boss's car. Small cubic inch BBC with Poncho heads. 68 Camaro with a 5spd std, all steal minus the fiberglass hood, and a full interior without rear seats for tub clearance. Runnin low 8's in the quarter.
Sorry for repeating if I mentioned this before. The Pontiac/Chevy thing brought it back to memory.

I've got to find the right time to test with my G Tech w/o getting into trouble, but my guess is that with my new tires I should run the quarter +/- 12 flat with a sub 4 second 0-60.

Considering that my car handles the corners like it is on rails, and has 320 treadwear tires that are great in heavy rain, and gets 24 MPG on the Highway, I think that is pretty impressive. It is a "real" all around street car. And, there is room for the Grandkids in the back!

That is impressive, Mike. Very ......:D

Speaking of on the street, that Camaro got driven on the street a few times. He couldn't drive more than a block without someone trying to egg him on. He got pulled over a few times to. Officer such and such would be beat red in the face, "YOU CAN'T DRIVE THAT ON THE STREET!" Boss would laugh at him and say, "sure I can." The only ticket he could have gotten would be for inadequate wipers. There wasn't any. Rest of the car was street legal. I always got a kick out of seeing him pull up to a traffic light with wheelie bars stickin out the rear. :D

1991 Coleman Powermate 5000 watt generator, got it running. Didn't take much to get it running either. New fuel valve bushing, topped up the oil, added fresh fuel, and it fired right up. Adjusted the high speed needle a bit richer and it runs great. Makes power.

Fooling around with the 576xp muffler. I like the added bark.
Now, I'm a neophyte saw timkerer compared to most here.. just cuttin' my teeth, so to speak. But, I have to give a shout out to @Duke Thieroff . I've been using these from Duke's. I thought I only had enough room to stick a piece of tubing out the top corner, but this shaped up perfectly. Allows a 1/2" hole and 5/16" in a teardrop shape underneath, and looks like it belongs.

These are very useful to this beginner!

That’s what they’re called? Well I fixed my flux capacitor with a new flux capacitor from menards. The kids even got a bath tonight.
Nice job! I could only imagine the panic of my wife if the water went down. I would be scrambling like a mofo:D

Yeah. Through the day she wanted to get bath ready, flush, water flowers, wash clothes, clean baby bottles….you get the picture. Amazing how much we need water in our homes.

Might only use 5 gallons in 3 days, but the minute the well pump goes down she needs 100 gallons lol
