What oil is best? and what ratio?

I burnt about 1 -1/2 gallon of fresh 89 with klotz benol today. I gotta say the saw ran and idled perfectly, very good throttle response, very little smoke, and smelled wonderful.

Maxima k2 isn't bad. If it was cheaper I'd use it.

Super M wasn't that expensive last I checked. I have to try it still though

about a 100 buck difference between the 2 in 5 gallon forms. K2 is pretty expensive!

927 is around 250. Guy at Maxima agreed that 32:1 is excessive for sure when running the 927, he would start at 40:1. Also has a few forestry departments running this stuff in their saws he also said.

Cut some of this crappy dirty wood up today. Dusted about three chains cuttin dirt. Used the klotz super techniplate. None of my saws blew up...not even the 044/046 that I ported crappily with a dremel.

The blue bottle supertech is bottled by warren. The new syn grey bottle is blended by citgo. It's probably quite similar to citgo sea and snow fd
