ron660Who's complaining?
A trim off!!!! !! A word of warning, if yall run mine I have lowered rakers on my line!! It pulls hard when u hit the grass it may flip u!You guys wanna put some money on them Wackers?
I got a fs250 that takes no prisoners
Ive heard thats very good oil?now we need brad snelling here to tell us how bad ass the oil from baileys is.
Stihl FS250 brushwacker 40.2cc vs Echo SRM225 21.2cc!! He is in trouble Mike we have the speed feed 400 line feed head!!I thought it was almost 50
Thoso 661s all have a wash pattern like that regardless of oil? Thoso quad ports must have serious velocity?I run my R50/800 mixture just to use it up.
I run 24:1 for stumping ......... sometimes I burn my hairs off my hands/wrists ................. so I am cautious about lubing my worked stuff
Here is my mixture @ 24:1 after a gallon or two in my 661. Cant remember what was done to it at this point, but the piston aint flat anymore View attachment 18631

supertech at 16:1 with 40 octane corn gas is bestHonestly, every oil I've tried leaves carbon on the piston tops.
I care more about the ring lands with regards to carbon than the tops of the piston.
Every oil I've ran has lubed and I doubt that any of them would produce any failures
The VP SEF that I run is why the piston shows the wash pattern.
The same mixxed oil in pump gas carbons up terribly with no wash pattern in some of my other 2 cycle stuff ........... including leaving some carbon in the ring lands
Fuel plays a large role in deposits and some oils do leave more deposits than others. Where the residue is left is critical, no matter what oil or what fuel one uses.
Piston top = NOT critical
Ring lands = Critical
I believe u on that fuel quality. How do u buy yours ? 5 gal. Pail?Honestly, every oil I've tried leaves carbon on the piston tops.
