Yea or clog it up.That 800 may clean it up

They're smooth to me....very low vibration. I understand what you mean by solid though. There also to soft, same as a 390.
I like a solid feeling saw.
Thats a mean SOB!!
See! I knew to much carbon was bad.Jason I did a bg85 blower rebuild that was ran on Stihl Ultra the other day and the rings were almost siezed. I ground about a 1/16 of carbon out of the exhaust. It was pretty bad
Lubricant what I've been told. A dirt track racer, and mechanic, recommended Valvoline for my 350 engine due to the higher zinc and phosphorus content for additional protection. I've been using 10W-40 with no issues. So then what's it's purpose in an oil? Lubricant? Solvent? Anode?
That old mechanic said he's used a lot of different oils and Valvoline gave the best protection. He also built dirt track racing engines. A chemical engineer I know told me Rotella 15W-40 showed the best lab results.I've always used valvoline in my vehicles.
I am starting to believe thatMost of the carbon will be from the crappy gas.
Sunoco 110 probably another reason for the clean internals....not sure.I am starting to believe that
I think its the quality of the fuel more than the octaneSunoco 110 probably another reason for the clean internals....not sure.
Im not sure but here is an interesting article that would pertain to oils full of zinc:
The effectiveness of Zinc in your oil is also affected by the quality of the base oil the manufacturer uses. Besides its protective qualities, Zinc is also an anti-oxidant. Manufacturers of lower-quality motor oil use Zinc to mask the deficiencies of their base oil which will begin oxidizing even under normal engine operation. That leaves the Zinc doing a job besides protecting your cam, which means that, just like the previous example, even though the oil may have a higher concentration it won’t protect your engine as well as a performance oil that actually has less Zinc but uses a higher quality base oil that’s not as susceptible to oxidation.
Anti wear
I've seen tests showing Rotella at the the bottom as well. Valvoline and mobil 1 were the top 2 in least iron in the oil after a run cycle. I've not seen good results with Rotella compared to valvoline, mobil, and Castrol enduron S. Castrol was the cleanest in the valvetrain. It had more detergents than the others. They've taken zinc out of a lot of the diesel oils for emissions. The flat tappet cams can use more zinc and John deere 15w40 had the most in it. The 5.9 and 6.7 Cummins are flat tappet cams. That old mechanic said he's used a lot of different oils and Valvoline gave the best protection. He also built dirt track racing engines. My echo srm225 runs really well on kl200 @ 42to1. Did u know that echo has a popup? My echo weedeater ran fine with klotz. It hated h1r. It likes Mobil and k2 just fine as well.
I was shocked when I saw the little popup. With a MM that thing is a nasty little boggerSame trimmer I have
