Yessir, redgum I think. There are 250 IIRC. Recently whacked a stringybark that is more brown. Ironbark is pink. Some un ID'd stuff I cut recently is a deep dark red.

Eucalyptus is notoriously hard to dry without checking and warping. Screwed it down green, oiled it, and crossed our fingers.

Well my wood working skills are pretty basic but i made a tv stand for my boy and his girl friend and i think it turned out ok. It from a tree that got taken down by a tornado 2 summers ago.

Not my prettiest work, but I utilized a 2" Red Oak Board I milled years ago to make this sink support in the bathroom of the cabin.

Removed the deteriorating sap wood and sanded down the remaining heart wood a bit. Kept it rustic, as is the theme up there.

Amazingly, my mom is still utilizing these pear cookies and they are still holding up without any special treatment

Not much on this build outta homemade lumber.... just the 1x4s on the walls and the posts/beam on the porch.

Working on new cabinets for the bathroom that I'll be remodeling this year. Given the choice between oak and cedar, she chose cedar. I have to make the drawers next.
Not perfect, but she's happy with them.

Close Mike. It's 16'x32' with 9' walls. 3/4" spruce burned and oiled. Currently finishing the battens, window/door/ corner trim.
