The one we ran in PA must not have been broke in yet.
I don't recall this much negative talk about performance with the 562. That thing had all the problems it did and folks still hyped it up.
The way that saw pulled when you pushed it in the cut felt really good. My saw wasn’t twisted up to its max, but I doubt I would’ve felt any differently about if it was. That 572 ripsA stock 572 stronger than a ported 372?!

Sad but true haha.Like I said in the other thread, mine was a dud until it had a few tanks through it. Was the same with the proto types.
I get a kick out of all of the talk about the weight. Half the guys who worry about a couple of ounces here and there, will go out and weigh the saw down with full wrap handles, west coast spikes and a bar two sizes bigger than they need to make it look cool. LOL

Thanks Bob!
Maybe the dealer confused production availability with production issues/problems. Good to hear the saw is solid and it's just a production ramp up issue.
How are you healing up?I get a kick out of it too![]()
I guess anything is possible, but the only thing I've been told is that they did some sales forecasts and the numbers were way higher than expected. I told my rep I wanted 50 XP's, 10 XPG's and 10 565's. Lot's of orders that size and larger still. Combined with it's popularity where it is already being sold, they will need an extra few months to build enough product to fill the pipeline. Don't want to launch the thing and then have them on backorder every couple weeks. "Filling the pipeline" isn't talked about a lot, but with something that will be in high demand, it really needs to be done to avoid driving everyone nuts. Went through this last year with the Exmark Radius; big splash and then you couldn't get them.
"Something serious" doesn't sound right, cause we'd have heard about it in the European market. And I don't think EU emission regs are all that different than EPA, if at all. And the date I was told was Feb 1, not 12-18 months.
I don't think its anything serious either I expect its from some sort of business reasons as spike60 mentioned.
I don't want to get all political just the emissions stuff our government does is NOT FAIR and some of it is downright stupid. It bugs the crap out of me! Our emission laws are among the worlds very strictest few countries do as much as we do to safeguard our wonderful planet. Don't get me wrong I am all for taking care of the environment but the idea that we have self imposed the strictest most burdensome and costly restrictions/laws with some of them being down right extreme while some other countries (like china despite having near triple our population) do basically nothing to protect this beautiful planet (yet we do massive amounts of business with them anyways) is crazy. I believe in the government there are a lot of very intelligent people who unfortunately have little common sense and often no real understanding of a given subject making all the rules/laws and the EPA is no exception.

Well.....……………….looks like it's a little more than that fellas. I don't know yet exactly what's going on; but something's going on.
Hmmmm
