Yup sounds like a supply problem. Like a bad one, like sole supplier for a casting or molding is down/being a dick/has a quality issue and it's going to take 16 weeks for a new vendor to make a mold, pass first article inspection, and then start shipping production quantities.
wonder if its the same supplier that casts the 550 cylinders...:) ( Think about that one for a minute )

Damn right

I must be off on how much fuel I ran through it. I know I put fuel in it 5 or 6 times but that’s because I was taking it out or someone else was running it. Maybe it only had 2 full tanks through it. Who knows.

That would definitely explain the lack of torque.

We used less than a tank the day we ran it if that helps bro. What's this lack of torque talk? Its straight silly! I ran (abused a little when he wasn't looking:eusa_whistle:) Cole's saw quite a bit this spring. I was very impressed with the power for the size it is. Also given that it isn't anywhere near broken in yet.

Production is being held up so they can pack them in those goofy trapazoid shaped boxes that the latest 562's showed up in this week. (One is on it's way to you Randy)

Hey, let's design a box that falls over easier! Sort of haphazard mess in the Fed-Ex truck. Truthfully, it's probably better for the saw power head. Less room to move around and stronger cardboard. But they don't stack all that well.

Of all the reasons well at least it has nothing to do with the saw. Cant wait to see how it responds to porting. From all the talk about the saw waking up dramatically after getting a good amount of run time maybe the computer has a break in program and runs a very conservative tune until it gets a certain amount of hours run time on it. Some snowmobile manufacturers have done this...….

Just talked to my “semi” local dealer. He had two 572 demos. He said one of em’s crank has tossed its cookies already and the other one won’t idle right. He thinks an air leak due to bad bearings. Both have 50ish, hrs on them.

Don’t know why husky won’t beef there recripticating assembly up...and those freaking plastic caged bearings.

I think I’ll stick to my 372’s....

your right Walt, I found some different 550 jugs in my trash, and there was at least 3 different jugs in labels and the location.
Gee, those old 550's jugs from 2012 looks horrible!!

One of the reasons I like the 555 & 560 ...:) Have all the right labels, more power and not much heavier than the 550's...:)

If I had to choose between my 2253 and awol 562... really depends on what I’m doing. I do find my self using the 562 more however. It can run and oil anything from a 16-28” bar. Light weight and peppy throttle response to do limbing and enough torque to buck medium sized hardwood.
