Yup, looks like you were closer to reality on the first post than what I was told. :)

Still no details though; gotta find out what's going on.

The dealer wouldn't tell me what the issue is but said something like everyone will know pretty soon. Hopefully you can dig something out of your rep.

Nobody's been told much yet. But I "got people workin on it" :)

How I stumbled on this was I tried to get my friend in the UK to send me another saw. He told me he doesn't have any and they were told they won't see any more for the rest of the year, so it's not just the US. Maybe @Simondo or @Tor R can shed some light on what's going on over there.

You Stihl guys laughing good and hard yet? LOL This thread will get pretty out of control funny before too long. Where's Jeff and Mike when we need them?

Must be a supply issue. The reasons we don't build parts at work are funny sometimes. A $1k assembly wont go out the door because a vendor dropped the ball and sent screws 2mm too long.

Yeah, could be something simple. We'll all find out before long.

Hope this saw gets released before I retire. :)

I don't see anything news for the 572 on skogsforum.se, if there was any huge issues I would had thought it would had been posted there already Bob.
I'll visit my dealer, MaskinSalg Evje, either on friday or early next week, hopefully I'll remember to ask them lol. MaskinSalg sale is ruffly 50% ++ xp saws, they should heared it.

But what can actually go wrong on them new saws for Husky, most of the nice things a 572 has has already been around for 7-15 years on models like 357 and 562, well, other then the quality seems to go further down on new generation saws, before or later it hit back.

I’d wager they’re recalling them all to install smaller bearings because of all the complaints about how heavy it is...lol!

:stick:

It’s all good, it’s day will come, but this thread is making me sad.

Oregon rep was in today and he said I ought to bring mine up to Boonville and walk around with it all day and say there's some guy outside the fairground selling them for $700. Maybe I'll just walk around with the box it came in. In fact I should give it some weight...……….use it as a beer cooler. LOL

Bob.
The word here seems to be that there is NO further stock available to distribute once any stock that was ordered and delivered to dealers has been sold. I spoke to a dealer (near me) who ordered 4 and has 2 left ....he is NOT being told to hold those back from sale. He said Husqvarna are telling them nothing more at this stage. @Spike60

Yup sounds like a supply problem. Like a bad one, like sole supplier for a casting or molding is down/being a dick/has a quality issue and it's going to take 16 weeks for a new vendor to make a mold, pass first article inspection, and then start shipping production quantities.
