The 064 and the early 066 have nearly the same case and they share the same crank......

I'm using 066 cases on my 064,there's no internal difference. I like the small aluminum flywheel.

Yeah......I said nearly because there might be same differences in fastener size on the jug bolts and recoil. Can't remember for sure.

Yeh but the only difference in a 660 would be the big rod bearing. I think case capacity is the same.

There are at least three different cases. Small rod bearing (064-066), large rod bearing with short tank, and the the longer tank version.

Then why do 66 jugs seem to run differently on 64 cases? Just the volume difference from the crank bearing
