Well the 592XP is done. Cut times don't show any improvement over muffler modded but the chain has made 50+ cuts since then and now the wood is frozen. I can hear more RPM in the cut as well as I'm pushing pretty hard on it.

I ran the 592xp yesterday. I put a 28" 404 full Comp chain on it. I ran a tank through it cutting dirty skidded out red oak from 2019 . It's a really nice saw . It reminds me of a bigger version of my 572XP. To the guys that like the 572XP, you'll probably like the 592xp as well .

With a short bar my ported 395 kills it, with the unlimited coil the 395 cuts at around 12-12.5k rpm. I think the 395 might have a slight edge with overall power and would probably take the 592 with a long bar as well.

It would be interesting to see what a 592 would do with a regular carb and unrestricted coil.
