Back about 3 weeks ago I cut these red oak logs up from a tree that fell into my neighbor's field back in Aug.My son cut up the tops, but the main trunk had to wait till my hand healed up & I was able to get a bigger saw out there.I did a little noodling with this PM700,but was just a bit much for the 700.I got out the PM800 & it was flying through the wood till it threw the chain.I ended up testing out my newest Homie XL-923 (also 82cc) & it cut well too.(sorry guys) These logs may not look like much, but 4 of them on my trailer broke the frame.

The squarish top tank says it it one of the 1-6X models, the black AF cover suggests it is a 1-62 or 1-63 but those are easily changed.

80cc gear drive saws, fun to run for a GTG or demonstration but not your first choice for cutting firewood.

Kinda reminds me of a 440 I once had. The block stamping looks like so, there's a faint 1 in front of the 82:

Unfortunately I don’t have it in my possession, but I could have bought it today for $35. It looks a lot like a 1-71, could be something of the like. I absolutely would grab a 125 carcass for $35, but I’ll probably pass on this one. I will, however, be grabbing the p41 for $30.

What's that little red head right next to it? Anything else for grabs at this place? Lol

There are many things in this shed… 😅😁

I am going to go back at some point and make him a batch offer. Many Jonsereds because they were a dealer. Some things that I saw: 2071 carcasses, 630 carcasses, complete 930’s, complete 2054’s, 2159 carcasses. Unfortunately none of the 346 type Jonnie’s. They also had a load of Husqvarna 44’s, 444’s, and 142’s. Very nice complete 61 practica. Stihl 028’s, 038’s, 034, 041, and more. Lots of old Poulan magnesium that I need to sort through. Mostly smaller though. Some big old Mac’s mostly 250’s and the like. The guy reassured me that nothing is going anywhere, and that I could come back and make an offer on whatever I wanted.

With no automatic oiler, that shroud under the fuel tank, and the fuel line passing through the top tank half it should be a 1-76, 105cc.

Mark, is it a saw that parts could be found for, and is it worth much when restored? Both monetarily and utility-wise?
