I didn't have it long enough to find but I do know a 6-10 will do so in grand style no matter if it does start on the wrong side .

7-10 will spank a PM700, been there, done that, the issue is settled.

Mark
Mine won't, but it will run neck and neck with my 700. 7-10 needs rings. 700 is really fresh. 7-10 does seem to be a more nimble saw. I'll pick it up before the 700 or the 1010S every time.

Got a good oiler pump for the Mini Mac. Also put a decent bar and chain on it from some stuff another forum member sent me. Thanks Ed @redline4 !
This is a clean little saw, and has decent power for its size.
Pay no mind to the green and purple one in the background. Thats going to be a "borrow saw".

I never got to run the 7-10 I had at one time. Sent it to Steve and he ran it some before moving it on down the road.

7-10's are almost 1-1/2 pounds lighter than a 700.

Every so often a set of rings for a 7-1o/700 pops up on flea bay but they are rather proud of them .I wonder if Caber might make them ? I'll take trip to Google and find out .

No they dont. The 7-10/700 us a very thin steel ring set.

85239 is the part number.

Picked these up today. Saw on the left is an sp81 that is complete but not running. Has some very nasty gas still in the tank. Two man mac in the middle is a 5-49 I think. The label is gone and I can't find a model number stamped anywhere. I found the serial number stamped on the front above the transmission. Any thoughts on what you guys think this is? Oh yeah and the saw on the right obviously isn't a mac but its interesting still. Its a Wright B-520 reciprocating saw. According to Mike Acres site its 115cc and made in 1963.

Depends on the piston and/or cylinder. LOL

19 out of 20 times the 7-10 will be thin rings. All 700 are thin rings.

But none of that matters because Mcculloch mixed and matched stuff all the time.

Not tonight Poge.
Rings for the 7-10 is way down the list.
A fuel filter and a carb cleaning for it is currently at the forefront. It went a little lean the last time I used it, and I gotta remedy that first.
