I have a 250 i rebuilt that turned out that way. Just some pittly stuff here and there and it pulls a 34" bar like a freight train. Had to take it to the wky gtg in 2014 because Mark didnt believe it ran that well.
Super 250 or another larger shortblock under the hood?

After the 610 saws last week I thought I'd try to organize my boxes of 600 parts so I could actually find things when I needed them. After that I decided to clean up the rest of the 600 Series saws in the attic, some will move to the museum and some will go up for sale.

The 3 610's and an EB42 from last week and a Timber Bear I cleaned up today.

I have a 655 apart for a good cleaning now...

...and a long way to go.

While looking for 600 Series air filters I found these.

Just like the ones that came with the carburetor conversion packages.

If you are interested in trying one on your older 10 Series send me a PM.

By the way, I cut down probably 30 trees today just one cut and then dragging everything off with the grapple. I’ve got a lot of stops to dig up over the next few days!

I have been doing the same thing over the last few weeks. Rented a grinder last weekend to take care of a few. Ground 28 stumps in a little over 5 hours. Mix of eastern cedar, oaks, elm, and hickory. Used a small backhoe to dig the rotten stumps out.

You can make a 70 cc Mac run but my goodness it's so much easier with a Stihl or Husky .I guess the challenge accounts for something .If it wasn't fun I wouldn't do it .

That Moped engine gizmo reminds me of a friction drive thing they sold in the early 70's dubbed as "chicken power ?' Mounted to drive the front tire .Rated power output related to a mildly frustrated wet hen .May require some assist with the pedals on a slight incline or head wind ,got about 100 miles per gallon at 22 MPH .Not quite ready for the Bonneville salt flats yet .
